Ripped the wood that was recycled from the loft bed tear down. Using it to build a simple desk, exactly like one I built a couple years ago. Basic 2×4 construction (actually 2 7/8″ x 1 7/16″) with a MDF top. No stain or paint, just poly.
Completed the frame today, need to buy a sheet of 1/2″ MDF next weekend. The edge will banded with 1/2″ x 3/4″ pine ripped from the same wood pile.
The scrap bucket was filled today!
