This is a very specialized tool, it’s sole purpose in life is to remove the pins that hold together the links that make up a watch band. In the past I’ve used a machinist scribe to perform this task, and that is a dangerous way to do it (for the watch band and the fingers). This does the task, and does it well.
The quality of construction is excellent, and the operation is smooth, so I never felt that the watch band was in danger of getting damaged.
If you need to occasionally re-size a watch band, this device is a must have.
