My son received a set of Logitech 5.1 surround sound speakers for his birthday. They sound great, but for the full effect the rear speakers must be used. I wanted to avoid running wires through the walls and placing the speakers up high, so we devised a plan. Opposite his desk is the bed we made which leaves almost no floor space to use speaker stands, unless a pair could be made to attach to the bed frame. And that is exactly what we designed, speaker stands that elevate the speakers about 14″ and attache to the bed frame.
They are constructed of 1/2″ birch plywood and Douglas fir.
