Started work on a closet organizer for my son. It will be very similar to the one I made last May, just a bit smaller. The materials required are 3/4″ hard rock maple melamine and matching PVC edge banding. The drawers will have are liner travel ball bearing slides with 3/4 extension.
The melamine is delicate when cutting, so a sharp 60 or 80 tooth blade is a must. Bought these at Menards, $20 for the two pack.
The shelving unit was completed after about 4 hours of work. The majority of the labor is cutting, gluing and trimming the edge band.
